The Academy is the training program. The Foundry begins after that training, giving alumni and Technical Leads a place to apply their skills through product development, paid delivery, and venture work.
A Foundry venture is still supported by ACA's shared product, technical, and operational resources. A local startup is an independent company that has grown beyond that studio support and can build its own team.
